Event
Fabrication
Custom scenic builds, structural elements, and finished environments. Conceived, fabricated, and installed by one team.
We build things
other companies rent.
Most event companies work from a catalog. EventPro works from a blueprint. Our fabrication shop handles the full range of custom scenic work — from CNC-cut structural panels to hand-carved foam installations to welded metal frames and finished paint. If it needs to be built, we build it in-house.
That capability runs across both of our markets. Whether the job is in Maryland, Washington DC, South Florida, or anywhere else in the country, the same team designs it, builds it, and loads it in. No subcontractors guessing at your intent.

In-HouseEvery capability under one roof, from design through install. No handoffs.

MD · DC · FLThree markets, one team. Maryland, Washington DC, and South Florida.
CNC and Digital Fabrication
Our CNC router handles sheet goods, dimensional letters, architectural panels, and complex curved forms with tight tolerances. With an automatic tool changer onboard, multi-operation cuts run in a single pass with no repositioning and no tolerance stack-up between operations. The result is cleaner edges, tighter fits, and faster turnaround than traditional hand-cutting methods.
3D Printing
3D printing adds a capability that no other fabrication method can match: any geometry, any quantity, with no tooling cost. We use it to produce custom connectors and hardware, one-off decorative elements, and prototype parts before committing to a full CNC or metal run. It's particularly useful for branded components that need to look precise at close range.
Metal Fabrication
When a build needs to hold weight, take repeated load-ins, or simply look structural, we fabricate in steel and aluminum. Our welding and metalwork capability covers stage frames, truss bases, rigging points, custom stands, and decorative metalwork. Structural components that need to be transported, assembled quickly on-site, and struck without damage are built to spec in-house, not sourced and modified after the fact.
Carpentry
Traditional carpentry is the backbone of most scenic builds. We construct stage decking, platform systems, wall flats, scenic backdrops, millwork, and custom furniture. Everything is built to travel: hardware-mounted, knockdown where possible, and finished to a standard that holds up at close range under event lighting. Panels are sized for practical load-in, not just structural efficiency.
Foam Carving and Fiberglass
Foam carving is how we create large-scale organic shapes that would be impractical to build in wood or metal. Rock formations, sculpted lettering, architectural details, and themed environments start as EPS or polyurethane foam and are carved, coated, and finished to a hard shell. Fiberglass or hard-coat finishes add durability for pieces that need to ship repeatedly or hold up to handling on a busy event floor.
Acrylic Fabrication
Acrylic gives builds a finished, high-end look that wood and metal cannot replicate on their own. We cut, route, and fabricate acrylic for signage panels, branded display elements, illuminated lettering, and decorative architectural details. Clear, frosted, colored, and mirror-finish acrylic all run through our CNC and are finished in the carpentry shop. No outside vendor, no waiting on a sign company to quote a panel.
Paint and Scenic Finishing
A build is only as good as its finish. Our scenic paint team handles everything from base coats and color matching to decorative faux finishes, texture work, aging, distressing, and high-gloss brand-color sprays. We work from Pantone and brand color specs to match client standards precisely. Finishing is done in-house alongside fabrication, not handed off to a separate contractor at the end of the build process.
Built In-House.
Not outsourced out.
Most production companies coordinate fabrication. They send a design to a scenic shop, wait on a quote, manage a third-party build, and hope the final product matches what was rendered. When something is wrong, the conversation starts over.
EventPro is different because fabrication is part of the company, not a vendor relationship. The same people who design it build it. The same people who build it load it in. Problems get caught on the shop floor, not on the event day.
Design, fabrication, and install aren't three separate vendors. They're one team with shared context. Changes at any stage flow through immediately.
When the designer and the builder are the same person, rendering details don't get lost in a handoff email. What's specified is what gets built.
No back-and-forth with an outside shop. No waiting on a third-party schedule. Work moves at the speed of the project, not at the speed of a vendor queue.
Fit issues, material substitutions, and structural adjustments get resolved in the shop, not on the event floor when there's no time to fix them.
Mid-Atlantic Fabrication
EventPro's primary fabrication operation is based in Maryland, serving the DC metro area, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and surrounding markets. We serve corporate events, association conferences, galas, and trade show environments throughout the Mid-Atlantic corridor. Our shop handles the full build process locally, with installation crews that know the region's major venues intimately.
Florida Fabrication
EventPro's South Florida operation serves Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, and the broader South Florida market. The same fabrication standards that apply in Maryland apply in Florida. Custom builds are scoped, built, and installed to the same spec regardless of which market the event is in. For projects that span both regions, one team handles both.
