When the Embassy of Qatar commissioned the production of a gala celebrating 50 years of Qatar-USA diplomatic relations, the scale of the moment demanded a production to match. Held at The Anthem in Washington DC — one of the most technically sophisticated event venues in the country — the evening brought together diplomats, officials, and dignitaries from both nations for a landmark celebration.

Event Pro was engaged to design and fabricate the scenic environment for the event. The centerpiece was a custom 60-foot wide by 35-foot tall golden stage arch — fabricated in-house at our Maryland production facility, transported to Washington DC, and rigged into position at The Anthem's stage. The arch featured a textured surface treatment of layered metallic discs and coins that caught the light from every angle, creating a visual signature that anchored the entire room.

Beyond the stage arch, Event Pro fabricated and installed the event entrance archway — a custom-built passage that set the tone for guests from the moment they arrived — along with the speaker's lectern/podium, and a series of custom exhibit booths for the Qatar Foundation International, each featuring Islamic-inspired arch structures with integrated LED edge lighting and branded graphic panels.

The result was a cohesive scenic environment that honored the significance of the occasion — bold enough to fill The Anthem's scale, refined enough to reflect the diplomatic weight of the evening.
