Event Audio

Live sound, wireless systems, and audio engineering. Designed, mixed, and operated by our team.

What We Do

Audio is the one thing
your audience feels first.

People will forgive a lot at an event. They will not forgive audio they can't hear, feedback that interrupts a speech, or a room that sounds like an echo chamber. Good audio is invisible. The room sounds clear, everyone can hear, and nothing calls attention to the system running it. That's what we build.

Event Pro carries and operates a full professional audio inventory: line array and point source speaker systems, digital mixing consoles, wireless microphone systems, in-ear monitors, conference audio, intercom, and broadcast infrastructure. We design the system for the room, mix the show, and staff the position through load-out.

  • Designed for the Room
Every system is designed around the venue, the program, and the coverage requirements. Speaker placement, processing, and system tuning happen on-site, not in a one-size-fits-all rig pulled off a truck.
  • Full Inventory
Line arrays, point source systems, digital consoles, wireless microphone systems, IEM, conference audio, intercom, and playback rigs. One crew, one truck, full system ownership from design through strike.
  • Staffed and Mixed Live
A system set and walked away from is not the same as a system with an engineer on it. We staff the console and manage levels, transitions, and cues through the full program.

Audio system design and engineering for large event by Event Pro

System Design and Engineering

Audio system design for complex events and venues that require more than standard deployment. Coverage modeling, speaker placement calculations, rigging coordination for flown systems, signal flow documentation, and network audio design for Dante-based infrastructure. For large productions, we produce a full system design in advance including input lists, patch sheets, and rigging drawings so the load-in runs efficiently and the system is ready when the room opens.

Live Sound Reinforcement

Front-of-house mixing for galas, concerts, award shows, corporate productions, and weddings. We design coverage for the room, hang or place speakers for even distribution, and mix the program live from the console. Speeches, panels, live bands, DJ sets, and hybrid program flows with pre-recorded content all run through the same system, managed by our engineer through the full event.

Wireless Microphone Systems

Wired and wireless microphone systems for speakers, presenters, performers, and moderators. Handheld, lavalier, and headset options across Shure, Sennheiser, and Earthworks platforms. RF coordination is done in advance for every show to prevent interference and ensure clean channels across the full program. We carry enough channels to cover large panel sizes and complex multi-presenter formats.

Stage Monitor Systems

Stage wedge and sidefill monitor systems for performers, speakers, and presenters who need to hear themselves clearly on stage. For corporate productions, we use stage monitors to give presenters a reliable confidence feed of program audio, countdown timers, and cue audio so they can stay focused without depending on room spill. For live performance events, we design and mix monitor systems scaled to the band with dedicated wedge and fill placement for each position. On larger productions, monitor world runs as a separate mix position managed by a dedicated monitor engineer.

Line Arrays and Speaker Systems

Flown line array systems and ground-stacked point source configurations for ballrooms, outdoor venues, tented events, theaters, and arenas. We carry d&b audiotechnik and complementary subwoofer systems sized for the event. System design accounts for venue geometry, coverage angles, throw distances, and SPL requirements so the system fits the room rather than overwhelming it or leaving dead zones. Delay stacks and fills for large footprints.

Conference and Corporate Audio

Speech reinforcement and audio infrastructure for conferences, general sessions, breakout rooms, and hybrid events. We design and operate systems for multi-room conference footprints, panel discussions with gooseneck and boundary mics, Q&A formats with roving wireless, and hybrid meeting setups that need consistent audio for both in-room and remote attendees. Dante network audio for facilities requiring multi-zone distribution without analog cable runs.

Playback and music systems at corporate event by Event Pro

Playback and Music Systems

Playback infrastructure for events that rely on pre-recorded audio, backing tracks, show files, and music programming. We build and operate playback rigs for DJ setups, backing track playback for performers, cocktail and dinner music systems, and multi-track show files for productions where audio needs to run in sync with lighting and video cues. All playback is run through the main system and mixed live, not sent direct to the PA.

Broadcast and multi-track recording at corporate event by Event Pro

Broadcast and Recording

Multi-track live recording and broadcast feeds for events that need a post-production deliverable or a live stream with proper audio. We split ISO channels from the console for multi-track capture, build broadcast mix buses for video teams, and feed clean audio to live stream encoders, recording rigs, and network broadcast. For hybrid events, broadcast audio is mixed as a separate stem rather than a tap off the room mix.

Intercom and production communications system at event by Event Pro

Intercom and Production Communications

Wired and wireless intercom systems for production teams that need reliable communications across a show. Clear-Com wired party line systems for audio, lighting, video, and stage management positions, and wireless belt pack systems for roaming crew. Intercom keeps the production running without relying on radios that bleed into other departments or get stepped on during critical program moments. We size the system to the crew and the show footprint.

Why It Matters

Audio that works
disappears into the room.

Nobody leaves an event talking about how good the audio was. They leave talking about the speaker who moved them, the band that kept the floor full, the moment that landed. Audio is the infrastructure underneath all of it. When it works, nobody notices. When it doesn't, it's the only thing anyone notices. We build systems and staff positions that stay out of the story.

Designed for the room, not off a spec sheet

Every venue has a different acoustic signature. A ballroom with hard surfaces, a tent with no parallel walls, an outdoor amphitheater with no walls at all. We design the system for the specific space rather than deploying a standard package and hoping it covers.

Coordinated with the full production

Audio that's coordinated with lighting, video, and staging from the start of planning runs cleaner than audio bolted onto a show someone else designed. When Event Pro is handling multiple departments, the systems talk to each other from day one.

Staffed through the full program

A system deployed and left is not the same as a system with an engineer managing it. We staff the console and keep a trained ear on the room through load-in, soundcheck, and the full event so problems get caught and corrected before the audience ever hears them.

Maryland and Washington DC

Mid-Atlantic

Event Pro's audio operation is based in Maryland and covers the full DC metro corridor. We regularly design and operate audio for galas and corporate productions at hotel ballrooms in Baltimore and Annapolis, general sessions and conferences at convention centers in the District, concerts and award shows throughout the region, and weddings at venues across Maryland and Northern Virginia. From a simple wireless microphone package through a full line array system with multi-track recording, designed and operated by our team.

South Florida

South Florida

Event Pro's Florida operation covers Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Collier counties, with regular work in the Orlando resort market and Central Florida. We design and operate event audio for hotel ballrooms, outdoor waterfront venues, tented receptions, brand activations, and large-scale productions throughout the region. The same engineering standards, crew training, and inventory depth that apply in Maryland apply in Florida, with a Florida-based crew handling local execution.
