Gala 2024

The Acceptance to Action Autism Gala is one of Washington DC's most meaningful fundraising events — a high-profile evening benefiting children with autism, sponsored by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in partnership with the Autism Society of America. EventPro, a full-service event production company based in Maryland and serving the DC region, was brought in to design and produce an environment that honored the creativity, individuality, and potential of every child the event serves.

The production theme, "Dreams in Color," became the creative engine for every decision in the room. The Anthem's 6,000-capacity main floor was transformed into an immersive, color-saturated environment — with a custom-rigged ceiling canopy of hundreds of hand-crafted kites, a CNC-fabricated scenic stage surround, dimensional sculptural art installations throughout the foyer and pre-function spaces, and a full event production including lighting, staging, and audio timed to every moment of the program.

Every scenic element — from the kite canopy to the sculptural art installations to every printed graphic — was designed, fabricated, and installed by EventPro's in-house team at our 80,000 sq ft Maryland production facility. Nothing was rented. Everything was built specifically for this event and this mission.
