DevCon is the annual conference of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, bringing together students, alumni, and corporate partners from historically Black colleges and universities. For the 2024 edition at the Hilton Baltimore, EventPro was brought in to fabricate and install all custom scenic elements for the conference.
The scope covered three distinct builds. In the lobby, a large-format dimensional DEV CON letter installation greeted attendees at the door and established the conference identity before they reached registration. At the ballroom entrance, a custom illuminated arch portal marked the arrival into the event space, with graphic-wrapped chevron panels in two treatments lit by integrated LED elements. Inside, the main stage featured a circular "Bold Moves" riser platform, a scenic backdrop with double chevron arrow props, a branded lectern, and panel seating.
Every element was fabricated in EventPro's Maryland shop and installed on site at the Hilton Baltimore. The letter sign, arch structure, stage platform, and furnishings all carried the same graphic language: deep navy, vibrant yellow-green, and the DevCon chevron motif consistent across every surface.
