Three service levels, scoped to your event
Some events just need the fixtures dropped off and a crew of your own to set them. Some need a designed look installed and left, lit and ready before the first guest walks in. Others need a rig designed by a lighting designer, programmed to a cue file, and run by a console operator for the length of the show.
EventPro runs all three. Rent the gear and run it yourself. Have our crew design and install static looks, set, focused, and left ready for doors. Or commission a fully custom show, programmed and run on cue by our engineers for the full event. You pick the level that fits the room, the program, and the budget, and we scope to it. A hospital gala working to a fundraising number and a wedding in a historic hall are not the same project. Each gets its own scope and its own quote.
Fixtures and control, delivered three ways: will-call pickup, driver-only delivery, or white-glove, where our crew carries the gear to a staging spot you choose. You place it, power it, and run it. No setup, no operation, no strike.
Decor lighting we set and leave: uplights, pin spots, and Lekos on ground-supported truss or pipe and base, plus cafe lights. Designed, delivered, set, and struck by our crew. No lifts or riggers, no console, no operator.
Everything the room needs, and the crew to run it: flown truss and rigging, moving heads, custom fixtures, and scenic integration, programmed to a cue file and operated live for the full show. Concept through strike, run in-house.

A room designed to read, and run on cue
Before any lighting fixture is hung, we go through the room the way a guest will see it: the bars, the furniture vignettes, the stage, the guests of honor, and the viewing angle to each key element. Every one of those is a decision about what to light, how to light it, and how to mount it for the best shot. On a larger show it carries into the program, so the lighting follows the energy in the room and underscores each key moment.
The other half of the job is the idea. We come to the table with something you have not seen in that room, then build it to the budget number you actually have. More fixtures do more, and when a show needs the rig we spec the rig. The skill is landing the room on the number we are given, with every fixture placed where it earns its keep.
-
Designed to the room
The fixture plan comes from the venue, the layout, and the program, not a unit count pulled off a list.
-
Programmed and run, when you want it
On a full show our lighting engineer programs the console and runs cues against the run of show. On an installed look we hand you the room, set and focused, at doors open.
-
One crew, load-in to strike
The team that designed the rig loads it in, runs it, and strikes it clean. One accountable crew, start to finish.
-
An 80,000 sq ft facility, a short haul in
Design, prep, and pre-rig, plus a full lighting inventory in one building between Baltimore and DC, so what we design is what loads onto the truck.
Ready before doors, through the last song
Weddings are a large part of what we do here. Ballrooms in Harbor East, historic halls downtown, waterfront rooms in Fells Point. The requirements are different from a corporate gala. It has to look right the moment doors open and still be right when the band starts. On most of these there is no operator retuning the room between courses, so a single look carries cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Too dramatic and it fights the dinner. Too restrained and the floor never lifts. Getting all three out of one setting is most of the design.
Most wedding work sits at EP Curated: uplights around the perimeter, pin spots on the tables and the cake, Lekos on ground-supported towers, cafe lights overhead. Pin spots are focused after the floral is set, and the focus call is part of the plan. Where a couple wants moving heads and a programmed dance set, that is a full show, and we run it the way we run a gala.

Ten rooms we are in most often, a sample rather than a limit. We know their docks, their ceiling heights, and their house rules, which is why our quotes hold up once we are on site. If yours is not on the list, odds are we have already loaded into it. If we have not, we walk it before we quote it.
