A room designed to read, and run on cue

Before any lighting fixture is hung, we go through the room the way a guest will see it: the bars, the furniture vignettes, the stage, the guests of honor, and the viewing angle to each key element. Every one of those is a decision about what to light, how to light it, and how to mount it for the best shot. On a larger show it carries into the program, so the lighting follows the energy in the room and underscores each key moment.

The difference shows up on camera. Every fixture is placed so the stage reads and the recap photos and video come back looking like the room people were standing in. For an annual gala or conference, that footage is what sells next year. We scope it honestly and quote the level you actually want.

We light galas, conferences, and brand events across the District, from the Washington Hilton and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center to the Conrad, the Willard InterContinental, and the National Portrait Gallery, plus embassy residences, museums, and private homes. Our crew knows DC load-in and dock rules, and the production facility is close by in Maryland.

04Can you handle uplighting and a full intelligent rig for the same event?

Yes. We carry everything from wireless uplights and pin spots through moving heads and intelligent fixtures, designed as one rig. The same crew scales the package to the room, from an intimate reception to a full production.

05How far in advance should we book event lighting in DC?

Earlier is better for peak gala and conference season, but we take on tighter timelines when the calendar allows. Send your date and venue and we will tell you what is workable.

06Are you an event lighting company, or a full production company?

Both. We run lighting in house, alongside audio, video, rigging, and power, and we take lighting-only work as readily as full builds. The gear is ours. The crew is on staff. We cover the District and the DMV.
